Zakiyyah started her ClothingLine back in 2020 with the inspiration by an influencer named Local Black Child from Philadelphia. While watching her videos and seeing other influencers making clothing themselves, Zakiyyah was inspired. Noticing that plus size is starting to be created more, she hoped to make clothing that girls feel comfortable in, especially her fellow black members of the black community. She is passionate in the ideal that it does not matter what size you are, you should wear what allows you to feel not only comfortable but confident. She wished to be more of her own entrepreneur, especially because she saw her own mother struggling to make things happen in life for her growing up. She is wanting to build her own Legacy for both herself and her mother, along with provide clothing that makes everyone both comfortable and confident regardless of their physique.
